Itinerary

Day 1 (May 7): Welcome Lunch

  • Guests arrive from 10am onwards
  • Tour the estate
  • Long lunch at Fonte Sala
  • Lawn games/relax
  • Dinner at Fonte Sala

Day 2 (May 8): Hens & Bucks Winery Tour

  • Each villa does their own breakfast (a breakfast & snacks basket will be provided to all rooms)
  • 9:30am Hens & Bucks group picked up by bus for winery tour
    • 10am Scacciadiavoli: Winery tour and wine tastings. Scacciadiavoli is the most ancient winery of Montefalco founded in 1884. Pambuffetti family have owned this historical estate for 5 generations and they produce very good quality wine.
      • Lorenzo suggests their Sagrantino based Sparkling Rosé.
    • 12pm Antonelli: One of the highest quality wineries in the area. Their Sagrantino Passito is the best in Lorenzo’s opinion. Winery visit 12-12:30 and light lunch with 4 wine tastings.
    • 4pm Tenuta Castelbuono: Amazing sculpture winery made by Italian artist Arnaldo Pomodoro in the middle of the Umbrian countryside landscape. The estate is relatively new in comparison to the first two. Winery tour includes 4 wine tastings.
  • 5pm return to Fonte Sala for buffet dinner

Day 3 (May 9): Wedding Day

  • Each villa does their own breakfast (a breakfast & snacks basket will be provided to all rooms)
  • Guests are free to spend the morning however they would like, we recommend being back at the villa by 12pm to get ready for the wedding
    • Alex, Josh, Dan and George to be ready for Will’s “getting ready” photos at 1pm
    • Gav, Lachy, Eve, Carmen, Luke, Connor, Jory and Henry to be ready at 1:15pm for Will’s pre-wedding group photos
    • Teresa, Marcelle and Lydia to be ready for Isobel’s “getting ready” photos at 1:45pm
  • From 2:30pm be seated in the ceremony space
  • 3pm Ceremony
  • 3:30pm Group photos
  • 4-5:30pm Aperitivo by the pool
  • 6-8pm Speeches and dinner
  • 8pm Party

Day 4 (May 10): Recovery Day

  • Optional: Each villa does their own breakfast (a breakfast & snacks basket will be provided to all rooms)
  • 10:30am Brunch at InBolli (town of Montefalco)
  • Afternoon games and relaxation at villa, or free time
  • Pot luck dinner, everyone to contribute a dish (recommend buying something while in Montefalco)

Day 5 (May 11): Departure

  • Each villa does their own breakfast (a breakfast basket will be provided to all rooms)
  • 10am Check-out
